Part two!
So, after we had finished talking about vaginas with Woolly Wormhead at Ally Pally, we went and ate pancakes with Idoru. Yum!
Refreshed by sugar and lager we went to Stash, where we saw Diane, and a bit more yarn purchasing occurred. Next on the list was iknit, where I had great fun hanging out with Mr Craig.
Doesn't he look happy to meet me? At iknit we each bought a skein of cashmere for our peril snoods, and I think iknit is my favouritest yarn shop ever after the Wool Baa. If you find yourself wandering the streets of London you should definitely go there and take your shoes off and make yourself at home on their couch.
And the stash haul - I was going to take individual photos, but it seemed like too much hard work. Instead, this is the combined haul.
There is lace weight, sock weight and a teeny bit of sport weight. I was feeling a smidgen goth this year and the purchases do reflect that. I didn't spend over my budget and nothing was bought that I don't have a plan for, so i'm feeling smug.
Badger's next outing will be at the Stitch n Bitch day in London, and, as ever, if you see me come and say hi.

I really like the stash colours. You were a very restrained Badger. Should we be worried?
Good lord woman - how did you manage to fit so much into one London Visit??? - Have to admire your stamina!
Yummy yarn. Well done at sticking to your budget - very impressed. Do share plans for yarn - as I am nosey!
Yay for pancakes! And for Mr Craig!
We were very tired critters at the end of the day :)
Sounds like a lovely trip! Great yarn haul, and I especially love the red yarn on the far right :)
I love Iknit as an online shop, one day I will go and visit for real! Lovely yarns!
Yummy yarn although the red looks a bit billy no mates stuck off by itself on the end there. Can I beg an inch off the end of the cashmere please? Make your wimple two stitches shorter and you'll never miss it.
Ally Pally was ace. Your stash is lovely though I have concerns that you are having withdrawal symptoms - am not used to such restraint from the Badger.
Nice haul! I might be at SnB day (depending on how flat-hunting is going!) so I'll look out for you!
I know Craig - he runs the knitting group I go to! I'll probably be going to SnB. I'll look out for a small black and white furry creature if you look out for HUGE pregnant woman!
I'll think of you lot at s'nb on my birthday. give that small furry badger a hug.
Nice haul and great that you didn't go over budget and that everything was bought with a project in mind! I'm impressed!
We are giving new subscribers of our newsletter the chance to win one of 1,000 advanced proof copies of Crossed Bones.
Written by Jane Johnson, which has already been described as a romantic Labyrinth crossed with Pirates of the Caribbean. It is the story of Catherine Anne Tregenna, a talented young embroiderer who is kidnapped from her native Cornish village by Barbary pirates.
With exotic mysteries and a young Cornish embroiderer at its heart, Crossed Bones is THE ultimate escapist novel for 2008. This enthralling adventure is based on the real-life raids on the Cornish coast by 17th century Barbary corsairs, who kidnapped men, women and children for Moroccan slave markets (which was the fate of one of Johnson's ancestors).
The book isn’t released until the Spring, but you can get your hands on a copy before anyone else does! All you have to do is log onto www.penguin.co.uk/crossedbones and sign up to the Penguin newsletter.
The closing date for the competition is 7th January 2008.
Wow, it looks like you bought some very yummy yarn for your stash!!
Badger - YOu're as bad at blogging regularly as I am. I miss your witty repartee!
Why have you vanished?
Dearest Badger, Please blog some more as I was still married (shudder) when you last blogged and I think it is time you posted again. No pressure though.
