Go Badger!

Don't you find double-treadle a bit tricky though? I assume you jump back and forth from one pedal to the other :-D good exercise!

I have one of those! Thankfully it's less squeaky now than when it was new.

Are you spinning badger fur to make that lovely grey colour? I suppose if you were going to shear the cubs, this would be the right time of year for it.

Oooh, I'm incredibly jealous. Been planning to buy a wheel for months but I've had to wait until the library's quiet enough to book some leave. Have to wait until the 15th of June to get mine and learn how to use it.

So, if I get the alpaca fleece washed you will be able to spin it into saleable yarn for me, yes? How fab! Let me know how long it is likely to take..;-) Seriously, it looks great. If you get stuck I know someone who can give you advice - lots of it - and she used to be a teacher.....
