Words and pictures

Not too many words, but loads and loads of pictures. The usual gubbins applies, if you're on dial up then go and make a cup of tea whilst all the pictures load.

I arrived at the YH in Cockermouth

I had a few drinkies.

I went to bed, and the next day I went to Woolfest. I saw some pretty yarn.

Then I met some online friends, Artyfartykat and Acrylik.

Wormhead was there too.

And we also bumped into Aknita.

I also made friends with some stall holders. This is Natalie from the Yarn Yard, and I bought quite a few things here.

I had a very interesting conversation with Jeni from Fyberspates as you can see.

And the people from Pavi Yarns were delighted to have their photo taken with me.

Chrissy from Bright Dyes was there.

And I made very good friends with this lovely chappy from the Natural Dye Studio.

I was a bit tired after all this and so had a little snooze in a very comfy makeshift bed.

Refreshed after my nap, I found a fan! This is Helen, and she blogs here. (Hello to those of you who have come over from Helen's blog!)

After all that shopping and socialising we went to have look at the animals. My favourites were the alpacas.

I eventually had to say goodbye to all my new found friends, including blogless Helen and Kathy.

And I know you're all wondering what I bought, so here's the stash picture.

Finally, a very big thankyou to Alison for taking me there (and not leaving me when I was demanding a bacon butty), and Wye Sue for being such good fun :)

Have you lost weight? For some reason you look much more glovely then the previous photos!

Sometimes I appear all sleek and glossy and glovelike, other times as a quizzical slightly greying chunky badger. It's all just a trick of the light.

It's too scary. I might have to do a separate entry about him, as he's too intense for just a photo. He needs a long explanation and I'm still too traumatised to manage that.

Badger, I did enjoy meeting you in person/badgerson. Come and visit me over on my blog sometime .... and if you ever plan to venture over the border in to the foreign climes of Scotland, do let us know and we'll make sure passport control recognise you and let you through without any problems.

I didn't see you, not surprising as I missed Friday due to the call of the swimming pool. Saturday was busy, that could have been because it started tipping it down and those who were in were not leaving until the rain stopped. I now know where you can get good fleece within 40 miles of here (not counting what's in my sink right now)

We had badger tv - channel 14 was badgercam at night and squirrelcam during the day. I saw you snuffling around in those bushes with your mates. Didn't see any sign of a pint though.
