Harry Potter

S'crap. Don't bother reading the tripe unless you're forced to by a kiddy (or you're a school librarian). Nothing worthwhile really happens, and the epilogue made me nauseous.

I have been knitting, and I have been receiving pressies. Photos to follow when sober :)

I'm with you, Badger. I don't understand why JK appeals to adults.

Kids, yes, I can understand, just in the way that I enjoyed Enid Blyton when I was young (wow, Chimney Corner Stories, The Magic Faraway Tree, The Secret Seven, bring it on!!).

But now that I'm an adult, I've put away childish things. JK and her prose just ain't exactly inspiring!

I really enjoyed it. Far better than the crap and rambling "Order of the Phoenix". Simply written but very engaging.

I love SciFi/Fantasy novels. :-)

I haven't read it yet nor the last one although I've got both. After the fifth one, they just didn't seem to call to me any more!

I've not read any of them, and don't plan too, I liked the Lord of Rings, and even the Dark Materials, but I really don't get this Potter thing!
